Key Designs & Developments was established by Kelly Ey in 2001. Kelly’s experience in the industry began in the early 1990's.

Kelly's first entire work, a new beach house designed from the ground up and fully project managed, including all interior design and fit out, was featured in the January 2005 edition of '25 Beautiful Homes' magazine. Other works have been featured in 'Adelaide Matters', the Sunday Mail 'Home' liftout magazine and 'The Advertiser'.

Kelly has been a guest speaker for the Master Builders Association, at public information 'Home & Lifestyle' events at Wayville show grounds, in relation to interior design. She has also represented the Design Institute of Australia at a public exhibition at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Kelly was a member of 'Team 1' of the inaugural multi-disciplinary design challenge, 'Match' which was run during the Year of the Built Environment. Match was supported by various leading agencies, including Planning SA, ArtsSA and The Royal Australian Institute of Architects (SA). Team 1 won the final round of design challenges.

Kelly has design, building and commercial law qualifications. Her professional memberships have included the DIA and the MBA.

commercial interiors - including offices, SOHO’s, work stations, common areas, cafes, bars and restaurants.

play spaces

beach houses and retreats – including new building design from the ground up and the inside out, fully project managed interior schemes, selections, specifications, finishes, built-in cabinetry and custom designed furniture, with FUNkey finishing touches as for any abode.

residential abodes

new homes, extensions and renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, furnishings & artwork, lighting, accessories, colour schemes, facades, outdoor ‘rooms’ and polished interiors.
